Particulars of the number and percentage of
adulterated samples of milk for the years 1928 to
1933 inclusive are given in the following table:—

It will be seen that the milk was of better
quality during the second half of the year, as is
usually the case.
The average percentage of milk fat in the 638
samples taken during the year was 3.46 and the
average percentage of solids-not-fat was 8.70,
