During the winter months the large pool is closed for swimming
and a sprung maple floor laid over the whole area of the pool,
This provides an indoor sports area for youth clubs under the control
of the London County Council, This facility is well used and during
morning sessions is available to schools other than those controlled
by the London County Council,
The total attendances at the private baths and the swimming
pools during the financial year 1st April, 1964 to 31st March, 1965
were 32,089 and 141,773 respectively but these figures are
exclusive of attendances in respect of swimming galas,
