ROAD ACCIDENTS
The total number of road, accidents occurring within the Borough during
1964 was 483, causing 614 casualties, 5 of which proved fatal, Compared with
the figures for the previous year when 468 accidents caused 619 casualties
resulting in 2 deaths, the number of accidents increased by 15 but casualties
fell by 5, It is once again gratifying to record that there were no fatalities
among children, but five children were seriously injured, 44 children sustained
slight injuries,
I am again indebted to the Town Clerk for making this statistical
information available to me for inclusion in my Report,
