BACTERIOLOGICAL EXAMINATIONS
All bacteriological examinations are carried out at the Public Health
Laboratory at County Hall under its Director, Dr„ A.J.H. Tomlinson
No charge is made to the Council for these examinations and during the year made made as follows :-

The Public Health Department has an arrangement with Chelsea Doctors
whereby specimens left at the office by 3 p.m. Mondays to Fridays, and 11 a.m.
on Saturdays are delivered by hand to the Laboratories the same day. This
service is used extensively.
