494 faecal specimens which are included in the foregoing were
arranged and collected by this Department with the approval and
co-operation of local medical practitioners and school authorities.
The Public Health Department has an arrangement with Chelsea
Doctors whereby specimens left at the office by 3 P.m. Mondays to
Fridays, and 11 a.m. on Saturdays are delivered by hand to the
Laboratories the same day. This service is used extensively.
