CONFERENCES
The Borough Council was represented at the undermentioned
Conferences during the years:-
1. The Royal Society of Health
Annual Congress held at Eastbourne
from the 28th April to 2nd May.
2. The Public Health Inspectors'
Association held at Blackpool
from 16th to 19th September.
3. The National Society for Clean Air
Annual Conference at Llandudno,
from 1st to 3rd October.
There is no doubt but that attendances at Conferences of
these types are most advantageous to the officers privileged to
participate. Problems, either local or national, are fully
ventilated, and much valuable data is acquired for the
consideration of a variety of public health matters. It must
also be stressed that the opportunities of informally
discussing points of interest prove extremely interesting and
educative.
