Consideration of the work carried out to date shows that the need is
both obvious and urgent, and great encouragement is being received from the
knowledge that the public is maintaining a steady interest in the efforts
of all at the Centre. It is indeed pleasing to note that the centre is
supported by a resolute and energetic voluntary body known as the Friends
of the Centre for Spastic Children, the individual members of which are
largely resident in Chelsea, including many well-known figures in the life
of the Borough.
