INFANT MORTALITY.
There were 49 deaths of infants under one year of age in Chelsea during
the year. The correct death rate is 78 per 1,000 births, as compared
with 52 in 1932.
In London as a whole the rate of infant mortality was 59 per 1,000
births.
The causes of death in the various age groups are set out in Table
No. 15 :—
