The amount recoverable from the London County Council, as th e
School Authority, for the cleansing for the year is £99 6s. 0d.
Seven adults were cleansed at the Station during the year. In addition
there were seven adult attendances as a consequence of infection by
Scabies or Impetigo.
(b.) TUBERCULOSIS.
This part of the report deals with the work of the Department under
the Public Health (Tuberculosis) Regulations, 1912, and under the
Dispensary scheme approved by the Ministry of Health and the London
County Council who contribute 50 per cent. and 25 per cent. respectively
of the nett expenditure of that scheme.
Staff. —The staff of the Dispensary is set out in Section II.
Notifications. —The total number of notifications received was 156
but 55 of these related to cases which had been previously notified, so
that the total number of new notifications was 101. In the previous
year, the corresponding number was 129. The notifications received on
forms C and D, i.e , notifications from institutions regarding admisson
and discharge, are not included in the foregoing figures. In Table No-38
are shown, in the form required by the Ministry of Health, the detailed
figures relating to new cases and mortality during the year. Included
in this Table are 18 new cases which came to the knowledge of the Medical
Officer of Health during the year, otherwise than by notification on
Form A or Form B under the Public Health (Tuberculosis) Regulations.
