Poor Law Relief. —Through the courtesy of Mr. Apted, Clerk to
the Chelsea Guardians, I am able to give below the figures as to the
average daily number of persons chargeable to the Guardians during
the year.

Utilization of Hospital and Other Forms of Gratuitous Medical
Relief.—The Borough is singularly well provided with facilities for
hospital treatment, both general and special. In addition, several
important general and special hospitals are situated in the immediate
Neighbourhood.
