A bath built in connection with the Disinfecting Station will not only
be useful in enhancing the health of the Board's employes engaged in
sanitary and disinfecting work, but can also be used by men employed
in factories etc. before returning to work after infectious cases in their
homes; they can be recommended to have a bath and their clothes
disinfected at the same time, this being far better than making use of
the public baths.
SMALL POX.
Three cases of small pox were notified during the year, one in
Bromley and two in Poplar. The case in Bromley was from the
Sick Asylum, the patient having been admitted from the Greenwich
Hospital. The two cases in Poplar were from the Scandinavian
Sailors' Home, and were seamen who had been admitted into the
Greenwich Hospital from the Home.

Mr. Hitchins, the Vaccination Officer, has kindly furnished me with the following statistics which are copied from those forwarded to the Local Government Board:—
