Of the 52 deaths of non-parishioners, 4 were of children
under one year of age, and 22 were of persons ranging
from 65 to 95.
During the year 1899, 27 bodies were removed into the
Mortuary. Eighteen inquests were held upon bodies
lying in the Mortuary, and 19 post-mortem examinations
for judicial purposes were made in the Examination
Room adjoining the Mortuary.

The following Table gives a summary of the certified causes of death, during the year 1899, among persons dying in outlying places, after having been removed from the district of St. James, Westminster: —
