Some two years ago it was my pleasure in submitting my
annual report to include a considerable amount of information
upon this subject, which was at that time the more interesting

my duty to give written notice to the Factory Inspector of the
district of any workshop in which any child, young person, or
woman is employed; such notices have been duly forwarded.

laundries are now declared to be workshops, and consequently
are under our supervision. This has caused a slight increase
