T.—VITAL STATISTICS.
All the estimated populations are calculated upon the
enumerated populations of the Censuses of 1891 and 1896,
and made up to the middle of the year 1899.
The Parish of Lambeth contains 4,059 statute acres,
inclusive of 79 tidal water and 39 foreshore, with an
estimated population of 308,108 persons to the midllie of
the year 1899, consisting of 145,531 males and 162,577
females, or an excess of 17,046 females.
The total estimated increase of the population is 4,035,
but the " natural increment," i.e., the excess of births over
deaths, is 3,547, so that an entry of 488 in excess of those
who went out of the Parish during; the year must be assumed.
