Table: TABLE D. Shewing the number of Birth and Deaths, with Birth- and Death-rates in each of the Registration Sub-Districts of the Parish during 1898. The Deaths are from all causes, and from the chief Zymotic Diseases, and are corrected by adding Lambethians who die outside the Parish, by omitting strangers who die within the chief Parish, and by re-distributing persons who die in Public Institutions in other Districts from which they have been removed during illness.Details for London (with corrected deaths) are added for comnarison.

N.B.- In the 179 cases where the District is not stated the death-rate has been calculated on the assumption that these deaths
were sub-divided equally in the eight Districts. Census 1891 Return gives the area of Lambeth as 3,941 statute acres (exclusive
of tidal water amd foreshore.)
