In the Inner Wards the average Diarrhoea death-rate per
10,000 inhabitants was 13'4, as compared with 6-3 for the
Outer Wards, i.e., 2 to 1.
Under the heading of Diarrhoea may be classed the
7 cases of cholera* notified, together with the 7 deaths
registered, in Lambeth during the year, as there is no
reason to regard any one case as "Asiatic Cholera" ; and
also the 144 deaths registered from "Enteritis."
* 23 cases of Cholera were notified in London.
