POPULATION.
According to the Registrar General the population of the Borough at 30th
June, 1926, is estimated at 339,200, and equals the number of inhabitants at the
corresponding period of the previous year.
The figure given is believed to provide as true a measure of the estimate :n
June last as the data permit. It is therefore to be presumed that the population
of Islington has remained practically stationary.
The following tables give the distribution of the population of the several
sub-registration districts and wards, together with particulars of their areas and
densities.
