TUBERCULOSIS.
Tuberculosis caused 39!) deaths, which were 107 below the average of the
last decennium, but were 10 above the number registered in 1923. The death-rate
resulting from them was equal to 1.16 per 1,000 of the civil population, and represented
9.4 per cent. of the deaths from all causes during the year.

There was a decrease of 82 on the ten years' average number of deaths, and of 0.28 on the mean death-rate.
