Tuberculosis.
During the year 761 cases of Tuberculosis in its different forms were notified. The
attack-rate was equal to 2.28 per 1,000 of the civil population. This number shows a
decrease of 19 on the return of the previous year, and of 0.04 per 1,000 on the attack-rate.
It was also 119 below the number in 1919.
Pulmonary Tuberculosis.—652 notifications were received, of which 377
referred to males and 275 to females, and represented an attack-rate of 196 per 1,000.
The return was a decrease of 11 on that of 1920, and 107 on 1919.

From the above statement it will be seen how the disease attacked people at the
various ages, viz.:
In every hundred cases 1.2 were under 1 year of age.
„ „ 2.1 were aged 1 to 5 years.
„ „ 11.2 were aged 5 to 15 years.
Prime „ „ 21.0 were aged 15 to 25 years
of „ „ 44.8 83.7 were aged 25 to 45 years
Life „ ,, 17.9 were aged 45 to 65 years
