    Of the 312 new applicants, 26 were normal cases; 145 were slightly abnormal; 54 seriously abnormal; 7 were connected with venereal disease; 44 attended for the first time after confinement; 18 were definitely not eligible cases, and in 18 it was doubtful if they were so.
