CLEANSING STATION, BLACKWALL LANE.
The new Cleansing Station which forms part of the Disinfecting
premises was opened in June, 1924, and is situate at
at Tunnel Avenue, Blackwall Lane, East Greenwich.
The arrangements made with the London County Council
for reserving the use of the Cleansing Station on Mondays and
Thursdays for the cleansing of verminous school children continue
in operation.

Six adults suffering from verminous conditions were also
given cleansing baths. In every case the infested clothing was
disinfected.
