The Vicar of Greenwich gave Convalescent Letters for an
observation case where the patient was found to be non-tubercular.
The British Red Cross Society and the Greenwich Board of
Guardians supplied clothing, etc., to various patients. During the
year and on behalf of the London County Council the sum of
£265 12s. 3d. was collected from patients and their relatives towards
the cost of treatment, but £58 of this was afterwards refunded to
the patients."
The Report on Dental Treatment will be found in the succeeding
pages, and I have now only to acknowledge once more my indebtedness
to every member of the Public Health and Dispensary
Staff for their assistance and co-operation in carrying out the
work.
I am, Sir,
Your obedient Servant,
M. MACDONALD, M.D., Ch.B., D.P.H.,
