To summarise, the health of the greater part of the community
is largely dependent upon the information and care received at the
Maternity and Child Welfare Clinics. An organisation with such
widespread influence for good should have the utmost support of all
who are far-sighted enough to realise the enormous possibilities of
a healthy and virile nation.
The following figures indicate the amount of work performed at the fortnightly sessions during the year:—

The circumstances of each applicant for dentures are enquired
into by the Health Visitor and reported to the Maternity and Child
Welfare Committee, who make the necessary assessment. Twentyone
Dentures were provided during the year at a total cost of
£72 18s. 6d. towards which amount the patients paid £42 14s. Od.
