mortality last year was 0.02, as compared with a mean
rate of 0.52.
The deaths were recorded in the second half of the
fourth quarter of the year. Of the prevalence of nonfatal
cases in the Parish nothing is known. The local
rate last year was the lowest of the rates given in
Table 16.
