SMALLPOX.
No cases of smallpox were notified in Chelsea during the year.
Vaccination. No vaccinations have been performed by the Medical
Officer of Health under the Public Health (Smallpox Prevention) Regulations,
1917.
I am indebted to Mr. A. W. Horsnell, Vaccination Officer for Chelsea,
for particulars of primary vaccinations which have been performed in
the Parish during the past two years. These are shown in Table No. 36.
The complete figures for 1927 are not yet available.

(The above table is based on total births occurring in Chelsea and is not confined
to parishioners.)
ARRANGEMENTS FOR DISINFECTION AND DISINFESTATION
AND THE EXTENT OF THEIR USE.
The Borough Council maintains a Disinfecting and Cleansing Station
situated at 9A, Lots Road, Chelsea, adjoining the river.
Disinfection. The disinfecting staff numbers two. A steam disinfector
is provided.
Disinfection in connection with the notifiable infectious diseases is
carried out free of charge. Applications for special disinfection, not
associated with the notifiable infectious diseases, are considered, and,
