During the year, the Woman Sanitary Inspector made the following
number of visits: Work Factories, 38; Workrooms, 543; Workplaces,
12; Laundries, 36; Outworkers, 119.
Eats and Mice Destruction Act, 1919.
During the year the Council has provided rat catching varnish
to applicants for the destruction of rats and 178 bait traps were prepared
and given out. These traps are prepared on cardboard and found to
be very effective.
Station for Cleansing Verminous Children.
During 1924 this station was opened for the entire day on 43
occasions.
