PHTHISIS.
The deaths from this disease were 325 during the year.
The annual rate per 1000 living was 2.62.

During the last four years it has been our practice to visit and
examine every house in which a person has died from Phthisis.
Disinfection of rooms after Phthisis takes place in about two-thirds
of the total deaths from that complaint, viz., in more than 200 cases
in the year.
