Milk.
Of the 738 formal samples 32 or 4.34 per cent, were certified
as adulterated. Nine samples were reported against as being
deficient in milk fat, 22 as containing extraneous water, (one of
these being coloured), and 1 as containing colouring matter.

In the 5 years 1921-25 and in 1926, the percentage of adulterated (formal) samples of milk was as under:—
