Of the total births registered as belonging to the Borough
of Battersea 106 or 3∙33 per cent. were of illegitimate children as
compared with 108 or 3∙44 per cent. in 1924, 115 or 3∙35 per
cent. in 1923, 128 or 3∙49 per cent. in 1922 and 131 or 3∙50 per
cent. in 1921.
