Dental work.
15 patients were supplied with dentures or partial dentures, or
repairs carried out. For others, extractions, scalings, etc., were done.
As regards dentures; in the case of insured persons a part or the
whole of the cost is obtained where possible from the approved society.
Where the patient is on out-relief under the Poor Law, the
Guardians have paid the entire cost, or part of the cost if a balance
remained due in respect of an insured person. Five patients in such
circumstances were referred to the Guardians.

Persons not on out relief, and insured persons whose society did not pay all or any of the cost of the dentures, were assessed by a Sub-Committee of the Public Health. Committee for payment.

Co-operation with Practitioners, School Authorities,
County Council, etc.
Co-operation with general medical practitioners by the use of "Z"
cards, as explained in last year's report, is continued. 53"Z.l,"
90 "Z.2,"14"Z.3" and 16 "Z.4" cards were sent during the year
under report.
191 patients were sent to the Dispensary by doctors.
220 letters regarding patients were written to doctors, 158 to
hospital authorities, 70 to the Medical Officer of Health and County
Medical Officer.
