Until 1922, one Ante-Natal Centre was held in the morning at the
Napier Street Centre. A second session was opened on Wednesday
forenoons in view of the increasing numbers attending. Yet again, a
third session had to be opened on Thursday mornings. Early in
1928 this work was transferred to the Deptford Health Centre, Harton
Street. The numbers attending have now made it necessary to consider
the question of a fourth morning session. Dr. Hill attends
from 10 a.m. until 1 or 1.30 p.m. In addition to the Ante-Natal
examinations, any urgent cases from any of the Infant Welfare
Centres are seen on Wednesday forenoon.
