go away with, and a grant of £10 was received to settle up all debts,
provide children with clothing and start the family clear again. This
patient went away with a mind at rest, returned home very much
improved in health, and what is most gratifying, has continued to
improve since her return. This is obviously due to the way she lives;
she endeavours to carry out the instructions given at the sanatorium
and makes one realise the truth of a remark made by a speaker at one
of the conferences held, that better results are obtained from living
sensibly under bad conditions than foolishly under good ones. This
case also emphasises the value of education.
