The staff engaged on this work consists of a
drainlayer and two labourers, with additional help as
required.
During the year seven systems were reconstructed,
taking 39 houses.
DRAINAGE WORK.
Legal proceedings were taken during the year in
respect of 2 cases of omission to give notice of intention
to fit a new w.c. pan and trap, with the results that a
fine of £3 and costs, £2 2s., were imposed in the one
case, and costs, 21s., were obtained in the other.
