FOOD AND DRUGS ADULTERATION.
Three hundred and seventy four formal and 518 informal
samples were obtained by the Council's Sampling Officer during
the year for examination by the Public Analyst under the
provisions of the Food and Drugs Act. The results of these
examinations are summarised in the following table:—

Special Designated Milk
Under the provisions of the Milk (Special Designations)
Act, 1949, Camberwell is a "specified area" in which only
special designated milk may be sold retail.
There are no pasteurizing or sterilizing establishments in
the Borough, but licences were issued during the year in respect
of the sale of special designated milk as follows:—
