Factories Acts, 1937-1948.
The provisions of these Acts which relate to sanitary
accommodation and, in those factories where mechanical power
is not used, cleanliness, ventilation, temperature, drainage of
floors and overcrowding, are the responsibility of the local
sanitary authority.
