It is felt that these clinics fulfil an indispensable function and that they
have great possibilities for development. As long as there are poorly children there
are new problems to tackle. These entail much work and the time factor makes
it impossible to deal with them all at once. There is, however, no reason why some
definite problem should not be worked on each year and no reason why each
annual report should not make some definite contribution to Medicine. This year
the incidence of anaemia has been investigated and with the Council's permission
the full technical details will be published in the near future.
Yours obediently,
(Signed) T. COLVER, M.R.C.P., M.8., Ch.B.,
Clinic Medical Officer*
