Leaflets providing information as to the early symptoms and
signs of this disease in various sites of the body are distributed
periodically.
It cannot be emphasised too strongly that delay in seeking
medical advice often results in unnecessary suffering and frequently
ends in disaster.

The London County Council is the Authority discharging
the duties in connection with the welfare of blind persons.
