Slaughter of Animals Act, 1933.
The purpose of this Act is to provide for the humane and
painless slaughter of animals and for the licensing of slaughtermen.
Licences were granted by the Council in 1935 to 3 slaughtermen.
Poultry Slaughtering.
There is no poultry slaughterhouse in the Borough.
Street Trading.
The London County Council (General Powers) Act, 1927,
makes provision for the licensing of Street Traders.
During the year 265 licences as follows were issued to street
traders by the Works and General Purposes Committee of the
Council.
