The total number of cases on the Notification Register at the end
of the year was 1,792, i.e., 1,467 pulmonary, 325 non-pulmonary.
The ratio of non-notified deaths to the total deaths was 1 to 10.6
as compared with 1 to 8.4 in 1944.
