Special Designated Milk. The following is a summary of the results of various tests carried out during the year on samples of special designated milk :—

Supply of Milk to Schools and Hospitals.
During the year, 36 samples were taken from hospitals and
34 from schools in the Borough and submitted to the Phosphatase
Test. All were satisfactory. In addition, 35 samples were
taken from hospitals and 34 from schools for bacteriological
examination. One hospital sample failed to comply with the
Methylene Blue Test.
