Prevention of Tuberculosis
Arrangements were made in the year under review for introducing
B.C.G. vaccination for the protection of those groups
of persons considered to live at a more than average risk of
tuberculosis infection.
This constitutes an important advance and no one can find
fault with the decision to carry out a scientific investigation
of its efficiency.
Mortality figures are regarded as the most valuable criterion
of the trend of tuberculosis. Notifications are not always an
accurate reflection of the incidence of this disease.
Mass Miniature Radiography.
