Outworkers.
In accordance with S. 107 of the Factories and Workshops
Act, lists of outworkers were received from 79 persons carrying
on business in Camberwell, in addition to those received from
other Boroughs (i.e., outworkers living in Camberwell but employed
by persons in other Boroughs).
The women sanitary inspectors made 1,959 visits to outworkers'
homes.
