DEATHS
The total number of deaths belonging to the borough registered
during 1961 was 605, consisting of 317 males and 288 females. The
number for 1960 was 565. The death rate for 1961 was 11.8 per
thousand persons living, compared with 10.6 for 1960.
MARRIAGES
The total number of marriages in the borough in 1961 was 410
being 36 more than the number for 1960, and 49 below the average
for the last 10 years.
The figures have been supplied by the Superintendent Registrar.
