DEATHS.
The total number of deaths belonging to the borough registered
during 1951 was 743, consisting of 414 males and 329 females. The
number for 1950 was 725. The death-rate for 1951 was 12-3 per
thousand persons living, compared with 12-1 for 1950.
MARRIAGES.
The total number of marriages in the borough in 1951 was 582,
being 37 above the number for 1950, and 23 below the average for
the last 10 years.
The figures have been supplied by the Superintendent Registrar.
