DEATHS.
The total number of deaths belonging to the borough registered
during 1950 was 725, consisting of 400 males and 325 females. The
number for 1949 was 726. The death-rate for 1950 was 12.1 per
thousand persons living, compared with 12.0 for 1949.
MARRIAGES.
The total number of marriages in the borough in 1950 was 545,
being 64 below the number for 1949, and 125 below the average for
the last 10 years.
The figures have been supplied by the Superintendent Registrar.
