DEATHS.
The total number of deaths belonging to the borough registered
during 1941 was 1,047, consisting of 570 males and 477 females. The
number for 1940 was 1,551.
MARRIAGES.
The total number of marriages in the borough in 1941 was 725,
being 461 below the number for 1940, and 322 below the average for
the last 10 years.
The figures have been supplied by the Superintendent Registrar.
