OTHER CLINICS.
X-RAY DEPARTMENT.
During the first six months of the year the work of the X-Ray
Department showed a considerable increase over the first six months
of 1938, but as the department was closed for two months after the
outbreak of war the figures for the whole year are less than those
of 1938.

RHEUMATISM. CHILDREN'S AND POST-INFECTIOUS
DISEASE CLINICS.
These three clinics were closed during most of the month of
August on account of the school holiday, and they have not been
re-opened. Thirty-one new patients were referred for examination
to the Childrens Clinic, and there were 69 re-examinations in the
Rheumatism Clinic at which the new cases numbered 12 adults and
15 children and there were 224 re-examinations.
