MORTUARY.
As mentioned in my last Annual Report the London County
Council now acts as agent for the Borough Council in the matter
of mortuary accommodation, and receives into the mortuary
at St. Olave's Hospital those bodies, for which it is the duty of the
Borough Council to provide. A fee of one guinea per body is
paid by the Borough Council for this service.
