ANNUAL REPORT
OF THE
MEDICAL OFFICER OF HEALTH.
To the Mayor, Aldermen and Councillors of the Borough of
Bermondsey.
SIR, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN,
I have the honour to submit my Annual Report for the year
1936, and in doing so I desire to offer my thanks to the Chairmen
and Members of Committees for their unfailing support during
the year. It is a pleasure also to express my appreciation to the
staff for their loyalty, goodwill and hard work. One event in
particular has marked this year, namely the opening of the
Bermondsey Public Health Centre, and I am sure that the staff
would wish to join with me in expressing thanks to the Council
for the greatly improved working conditions. A short statement
concerning the new centre will be found on page 61.
