As in previous years the majority of tuberculous patients had
received institutional treatment prior to ultra violet light treatment.
Good results were obtained in all but two cases of surgical
tuberculosis which completed treatment during the year. Ultra
Violet light has been found invaluable in maintaining the general
condition of these patients and preventing relapses on return
from sanatorium.
